The home-based Super Eagles will leave for Cotonou on Friday ahead of their 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) playoffs first leg qualifier against Benin Republic.
According to Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye, the team will travel by road from Lagos after heading down from their training camp in Kano by air.

The first leg qualifier between Benin Republic and the home-based Super Eagles is billed for Sunday, August 13, while the return leg comes up a week later in Kano.
The winners over two legs will qualify for the 2018 CHAN in Kenya.
Benin Republic knocked out Togo 7-6 on penalties in the first round qualifier. The game was tied at 2-2 on aggregate.
