All arrangements have been concluded by Prokonnect Ltd, the Publishers of Parrot Xtra Magazine and PMParrot.com/PMParrotng.com to publish a very special edition to mark the 13th anniversary of their publications.
This disclosure was made by Olayinka Agboola, the Editor-in-Chief of the publishing group in a Press Release made available to media men during the week.
Agboola, who has worked with Thisday, Nigerian Tribune, Eko FM, Ovation Magazine among others remarked that the special edition of the magazine is being put together to celebrate workers, advertisers and readers of Parrot Xtra Magazine and the online version, PMParrot.com/PMParrotng.com
He stated further “Our journalistic trip has been very tough but challenging. Surviving the last 13 years is by God’s special grace and the unrelenting efforts of fellow Parrots-in-the-House as well as our advertisers, subscribers and readers.
“This is why we feel it is better to use our platforms to celebrate all those ‘soul-mates’ that have stayed glued to us in the past 13 years. We have all the reasons to be grateful to all.”
Agboola, who was at a time a Press Secretary to late Governor Lam Adesina of Oyo State also took time to announce that the special anniversary edition will be on the newsstands before the end of October, 2017.
“We have started sending out letters to our friends and admirers to invite them to book spaces on our platforms at very moderate rates to celebrate with us as well as use the opportunity to publicize their products and services.
“It is also our pleasure to pledge to all our friends and those connected to us directly and indirectly that we will continue to strive harder to serve them the best in terms of information, education and entertainment”, concluded Agboola.
