Human beings do not enjoy the same good will from God, our creator – but one person who belongs to that category of special God’s people is Hajia Lateef Bolatito Adebisi, Governor Abiola Ajimobi’s Senior Special Assistant on Education.

Hajia Adebisi, still a very good looking woman despite being a grandmother several times over was born on October 30th, 1958 in Alaagba Compound, Eleta Area of Ibadan in Ibadan South East Local Government to the family of Late Alhaji Yusuf Ajala and Late Alhaja Sidikat Ajala.

She attended Omolewa Nursery and Primary School, Orita-Mefa and Ahmadiya Grammar School, Eleyele both in Ibadan for her primary and secondary education, before she moved to Lagos.

Having completed her secondary education, Hajia Bolatito attended Lagos State College of Education, now Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, where she obtained her Nigeria Certificate in Education.

As a result of her passion for education, coupled with the desire to acquire more knowledge as far as education is concerned, she traveled out of Nigeria to attend Medgar Evers College, New York in the United States of America to obtain a higher degree.

In the quest to put the knowledge gathered from different continents of the world into use, Hajia Bolatito Adebisi established Mahnatez International School, in fulfillment of her dream as a true promoter of childhood education and as part of her contributions towards promoting good, sound and quality education in Oyo State.

This wonderful step was one of the criteria that earned Hajia Bolatito Adebisi the position of the Senior Special Assistant on Education to the State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi when he assumed office in 2011; a position she occupies till date.

As a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Education, Hajia Bolatito Adebisi has used the position to promote the Governor Abiola Ajimobi-led government’s policies on education, and has done well to protect the interest of teachers in the state.

In the course of promoting the teachers’ interest, Hajia Bolatito Adebisi embarked on Government’ Teachers Interactive Session, a programme initiated to identify various challenges confronting teachers across the state with the motive of providing adequate solutions. The initiative went across all zones in the state, where best teachers benefitted in the newly improved housing and car loans schemes.

Hajia Bolatito Adebisi is also a member of the Oyo State Model Education System Interventions (OYOMESI) Project Committee, an initiative of the Special Adviser on Education, Dr. Bisi Akin-Alabi.

Hajia Bolatito Adebisi, a seasoned educationist and accomplished beacon of love is endeared to the people – not only her immediate family but also to all those that have come in contact with her by her philanthropic gesture towards humanity.

Hajia Bolatito Adebisi, a practicing Muslim, through her humanitarian services to the people has proved, and is still proving that it is not only when one occupies a political position that he or she can give back to the society.

This is, perhaps, why she remains one of those God smiles to all the time.

Happy birthday, long life and much more prosperity!
