Checks by Parrot Xtra, our sister Publication, have revealed that Nigeria’s premier technical university, The Technical University, Ibadan, has appointed a new Public Relations Officer.
The new PRO is Oluwole Adejumo, an Ibadan-born journalist, who until his appointment was a Contributing Editor at Parrot Xtra Magazine. He had also worked at the City People Magazine as a Senior Correspondent between 2003 and 2008 after which he joined The Street Journal as Editor. He was also the magazine’s first Online Editor, a position he held till 2014.
Parrot Xtra has also gathered that the appointment of Adejumo, who replaces Mr Ademola Adesola who is now in Canada to further his studies, holds a BA degree in Archaeology and a Master’s degree in Social Work, both from the University of Ibadan.
His appointment is scheduled to be officially announced soon.
