Transition Of Mapoly To MAUSTECH: Rector Assures Staff Of Job Security

Mr.  Ayodeji Tella, the Acting Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta,  has reassured members of staff of the institution of job security during the transition of the school to a full-fledged University as well as the commencement of operation of the newly established polytechnic, at Ipokia.

Tella explained that the transition process would not affect the academic programme of activities of MAPOLY, which according to him would run it various Higher National Diploma (HND) courses for applicants in the 2017/2018 academic session.

Speaking on the new Ogun State polytechnic situated at Ipokia, the Acting Rector stated that the institution was liasing with the National Board for Tertiary Education (NBTE) to ensure smooth take –off and sustainability of the polytechnic, adding that more personnel would be employed by the State government to Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology for effective service delivery.

Speaking, the Chairman House Committee on Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Fasanya charge the Management of the institution to maintain the high standard the school was known for and ensure the success of the transition and post transition periods of both institutions.
