The national executive council of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, (NFSC) has commiserated with the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, on the death of his wife, Olori Kudirat.

The group, in a statement issued and jointly signed by its national chairman, Prince Vincent Okumagba and Engr. Laaro Zubair described the death of Olori Kudirah as shocking and disheartening judging by how the late Olori received the group few days ago when the executive members of NFSC visited the monarch.

The group that prayed that Almighty Allah grants the traditional ruler, as well as the children and loved ones of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss, however, expressed that the incident was a big loss not only to the Olubadan, but also to the entire people of the ancient city of Ibadan.

“We greatly regret the passing away of our mother Olori Kudirat Adetunji. This unfortunate death happened barely two weeks when Kabiyesi and the Oloris accepted to be Patrons of our great club after which they were decorated with the paraphernalia of the office.

“We are surely going to miss the late Olori as she had promised to be in Russia next year with Kabiyesi’s royal entourage to cheer Eagles to victory, her death is indeed a big loss, not only to our father, the Olubadan, but also, to Nigeria as whole” said the statement.
