Hapoel Acre Hooks Nigerian Youngster To Improve League Fortune

With the hope of an improved outing in the Israeli Premier League, Hapoel Acre has completed the move for Nigerian youngster, Abdullahi Oyedele for a three year deal.

The skillful striker, who started his career with the Ilorin based side, Abubakar Bukola Saraki FC, before joining Karamone FC, is expected to make his debut with the Israeli side in January as soon as he is able to obtain his work permit.

Hapoel Acre which is presently at the bottom of the 14 team league with 6 points from 16 games will be hoping Oyedele will help to improve the club’s lot on the table.

19-year-old Oyedele who signed a three-year deal in a mid-season transfer was one of the players that facilitated the promotion of ABS FC of Ilorin to the Nigeria Professional Football League some seasons back.

After his brief stint with ABS, Oyedele returned to Karamone FC where he was till he signed for the Israeli clubside.

The fast-paced forward scored six goals for Karamone FC and was part of the team that came third in the 2015 edition of the Oyo State FA Cup.

Hapoel Acre currently parade midfielder, Peter Onyekachi, striker Bruno Ibeh and newly signed striker, Afolabi Timothy who are all of Nigerian descent.
