For the purpose of ensuring security of lives and properties of the people of Ibadan North East/South East federal constituency, Hon. Adedapo Lam Adesina, representing the constituency at the House of Representatives has embarked on the installation of fire extinguishing balls across markets in the constituency.

The official flag-off of the installation of the balls, which was held at the Araromi Spare Parts Market witnessed the presence of top government functionaries, market and political leaders in the state such as Special Adviser to the Governor on Budget and Planning, Dr. Isiaka Kolawole, Special Adviser on Political Matters, Shakrullahi Fajimi, former Commissioner for Health, Dr. Kola Balogun, Babaloja of Oyo State, Alhaji Dauda Oladapo and Alhaja Iswat Ameringun on Saturday, April 7, 2018.

The son of a former governor in the state noted that the development of the initiative was based on three major reasons – to fulfill his electioneering campaign promises made to the constituents in 2015 general elections, to address the issue of incessant fire out breaks and to ensure safety of lives and properties of the people within the constituency.

Omo Oloore emphasized further that to show his determination to curb the menace of fire out breaks in the country too, he has presented a bill on how to improve the operations of fire service in the country at the floor of the House of Representatives.
