NURTW Leader Applauds Oyo Government, Eulogizes Fele

Oyo State Governor Senator Abiola Ajimobi has been applauded over the peaceful atmosphere that reigns in Oyo State among members of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

Applauding the state government in Ibadan, an executive member of the union in a local branch, Alhaji Asimiyu Aderemi Odedeji (a.k.a. Area) said the union in Oyo State has witnessed unprecedented peace in the last seven and a half years of Senator Ajimobi’s administration in the state.

The Sango born native of Akinyele local government area of Oyo State said in the last seven years, the National Union of Road and Transport Workers (NURTW) has witness a lot of progress and peace that has not occurred in the last fourty years of its existence.

Eulogizing the state Chairman of the union, Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde (a.k.a Fele) the financial secretary, Lagelu interstate branch, Alhaji Asimiyu Aderemi Odedeji (a.k.a. area) said his boss in the state has performed excellently and has triumphed where others have failed.

He said Alhaji Ayorinde Fele, is a God-sent leader to unite and move the National Union Road Transport Workers to the promised land because members of the union who were being looked at as touts in the past are now being seen as well to do people in the state today.

He said it has now become a thing of the past in the history of the union with decency returned by the Fele administration in the state branch of the union.

 He cited the way Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde (Fele) resolved the crisis between members of the three wheeler driver in the state as one of the cases that made him an exemplary leader.

He called on all members of the executive of the union in the state and other members in general to co-operate with their leader, who he described as a God fearing and God’s choice for the state.

He finally enjoined members of the National Union of Road and Transport Workers (NURTW) to drive safely on the roads.

He cautioned them to abide by traffic rules and not to drink or receive phone calls while driving.
