NANTA South/West Boss, Dagunduro Bags Aviation Honour

In recognition of his outstanding contributions to the travel and tour industry in Africa and efforts in fighting quackery in the travel business, Stay Up Aviation Institute of Technology has bestowed its prestigious doctoral degree of letters on travel business to Dagunduro Olatokunbo, the vice president South/West of National Association of Nigerian Travel Agencies (NANTA).

The Ibadan based Aviation School that held a graduation ceremony at the National Museum of Unity Ibadan, the first National Museum in Nigeria over the weekend said the NANTA chieftain was singled out considering his exemplary leadership and his efforts in stabilizing travels and Tourism sector in the country and the continent.

The President of Stay Up Aviation Institute, Kenneth Oudah, while presenting NANTA VP with the certificate said “ Dagunduro Olatokunbo

John has fulfilled all the requirements for the honoris causa degree of the letters (Litt.D.) in Travels and Tourism, as agreed in the statue of the department of travel operations of the school”.

He then urged the recipient not to rest in his oars until the battle of the association against quackery in the sector which he (Dagunduro) spearheads in the South/West is won, and the sector is well sanitized.

Dagundoru in his response, however, thanked the institute for finding him worthy of the honour while pledging to continue in doing his best for the promotion of Travels and Tourism sectors in Nigeria and Africa.

He equally urged members of NANTA to get registered and obtain the National Travels Practitioner Identification Cards, saying, the essence of the introduction of the NTPIC is to ensure professionalism in the industry.
