Dr Kayode Fayemi’s Government in Ekiti State has promised to ensure proper implementation of its Projects which it believed would positively impact the lives of its people.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. James Owolabi made this known during the inauguration Ceremony of 1st Quarter Appraisal meeting of all Ministries, Departments and Agencies of Ekiti State Government.
The Programme, which took place at the Conference Hall of the State Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, explained that the appraisal was to ensure proper and effective implementation of the State Budget.
All the MDAs Mr. Owolabi said all the MDAs in the State used the opportunity to render the accounts of their Budget that enable them plan for Projects that would positively enhance the lives of the people.
The Director of Budget in the State, Mr. Leke Adefolaju, in his own remarks opined that the Appraisal meeting, which would not only guarantee proper economic management but would further assess and ascertain what had been generated and expended on social-economic development of the State.
While 54 Ministries and Parastatals gave their appraisal that day, others are expected to give theirs the second day of the appraisal exercise.
