As the prestigious Ibadan Golf Club clocks 29 years on May 1st, the Captain of the club, Col. Ade Sumonun has promised a grand celebration kicking off with a cocktail at the upper pavilion on April 30.
The grand event will commence on Wednesday May 1st with an anniversary kitty in the morning.
Closing ceremony and presentation of prizes to winners in the one-day golf tournament will be held by 4:00pm according to program rolled out by the committee.
A dinner designed strictly for members of IGC, their spouses and their invited guests will be held in the evening, starting by 7:00pm.
People are expected to dress formally in traditional attires or evening gowns and suits for the anniversary balls.
The Captain has, however urged all the distinguished golfers, members, well-wishers and friends of the club to come out and experience a memorable event commemorating the 29th anniversary of the cosmopolitan golf club.
