The management and staff of the Ekiti State Pension Commission (PenCom) have been charged to continue to work in the spirit of teamwork, diligence and honesty which has made the commission to tower high above its peers in the entire federation.

The Commission’s new Permanent Secretary, Mr. James Owolabi gave the charge during his maiden meeting with the management of the Commission in his office in Ado-Ekiti.

Mr. Owolabi, who explained that the Governor Kayode Fayemi-led administration was fully prepared to restore the denigrated values of the state, charged all workers to join hands and work in one spirit to achieve the set goal.

The Permanent Secretary, who expressed his preparedness to learn more about how the system runs, solicited the support and cooperation of the entire members of staff to move the Commission forward.

While lauding the contribution of the Commission’s workforce in making a success story of the implementation of the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), Owolabi charged the Directors to always be on top of their games as this would ensure better a performance.
