Stakeholders in education, particularly parents and guardians have been called upon to complement the efforts of Dr Kayode Fayemi’s Government in Ekiti State to improve the standard of education in the State.

The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Mr. Foluso Daramola made the call while monitoring Senior School Examination conducted by the National Examinations Council (NECO) at Ekiti Baptist High School in Igede-Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

Mr. Foluso Daramola, who noticed a significant drop in the number of students registered for the last Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by WAEC which the government paid for and the National Examinations Council advised the parents and guardians not to abandon their responsibilities for the government.
