Alhaja Bose Adedibu, the South West Women Leader for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has told the Ekiti State Stakeholders’ of the party to embrace peace, calmness and be united.
Bose Adedibu made the statement ahead of the three delegates ward congresses election scheduled for Saturday, 15th of January, 2022 in all the 177 wards of Ekiti State.
Speaking further, Alhaja Adedibu enjoined all the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Stakeholders’ in Ekiti State to be calm and display the spirit of sportsmanship during the PDP Ward Congresses.
In her statement issued and signed and sent to newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Friday, the Southwest Women Leader reminded the PDP party members in Ekiti State that one of the attributes of the PDP is the tradition of doing everything in a family way. She tasked all the PDP party members in Ekiti State to live up to the tradition by being members of one big family.
Adedibu said “that being family members impose a lot of responsibilities on individuals like lapping up and tolerating each other’s patient and political idiosyncrasies for the growth and advancement of the party in the State”, she pointed out.
Adedibu urged the women members of PDP in Ekiti to moderate the attitude and tempers of the menfolk throughout the ward congress.
She pointed that Ekiti PDP Women members have the divine capacity of tendering the men from heating up the polity, noting that women have vital roles to play in ensuring that the ward congresses go peacefully without acrimony, rancor or violence.
She commended the leaders of the party in the state for the show of maturity and spirit of sportsmanship being displayed for the protection and advancement of PDP in Ekiti.
