A very much respected community leader and former Secretary to the Military Government of Old Oyo State, Chief James Afolabi Adedeji has died.
PMParrot scooped that the technocrat die in his sleep in the early hours of Sunday, June 21, 2020 at the age of 88.
Late Chief Adedeji who served as SSG under the military government died in his sleep in his Mokola Housing Estate home in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
One of the highly successful children of the deceased, Architect Afolabi Adedeji confirmed the development to PMParrot on Monday morning.
Pa James Afolabi served under the military administrations of Colonels Adetunji Olurin and Sasaeniyan Oresanya.
In his tribute, Oloye Lekan Alabi, who was also worked in the same administrations as the Chief Press Secretary mourned with the family and friends of the deceased.
“I pray for the repose of the soul of Chief James Afolabi Adedeji. He was a complete gentleman and dedicated public servant,” said Oloye Alabi.
