Spartak Moscow player, Victor Moses, says he is ready to play in any position for the team as the team comes first and not his desires.
The Chelsea loanee while speaking on his versatility on the pitch said he was capable of playing in multiple positions and added that he could also play as a central defender.
The former Super Eagles forward started out as a winger but has been used as a right wing-back at Chelsea under Antonio Conte.
He was also deployed in that position during his loan spell at Inter Milan and his current club Spartak Moscow.
Speaking to the club’s YouTube page, Moses said, “Moscow is a beautiful city and I am enjoying myself here so far.
“The most important thing for me now is to concentrate on my football which I am doing. I just want to help the club, my teammates and make sure we win games. Russia Premier is a good league and I am getting used to it.
“I am a versatile player, I like to play whatever position the manager has put me to play, and then I am ready to do the job for the team.
“The team comes first before individuals so I just want to help the team to win games and as long as we all work hard together to try and achieve what we want to achieve this season, that’s the most important thing. It’s not individuals, it’s about collectively.”
He added, “I started off as a left-winger, it’s nothing new to me. I can play anywhere, I can play in midfield, I can play centre back, I can play striker, I can play number 10, I can play everywhere on the pitch.”
