Son of late Chief Bola Ige, Architect Muyiwa Ige was among the numerous friends present at the eighth day fidau prayers held in honour of the Guardian Newspaper’s photojournalist, Najeem Raheem on Monday.

The Deputy Photo Editor of The Guardian Newspaper, Najeem Raheem, was aged 51, and he died on Monday, June 7, 2021, at about 9am, while undergoing medical treatment in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.

He was buried in the evening of same day at his residence at 21, Road B, Ilupeju-Yidi area of Apete Community in Ido Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Apart from Arc Ige, some of the close friends who attended included the CPS to Governor Seyi Makinde, Mr Taiwo Adisa, the Chairman of Oyo NUJ, Comrade Ademola Babalola, Alhaji Soladoye Adewole, Kola Olasupo (SSA On Photojournalism to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State), the representative of Mrs Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Olayinka Agboola of Parrot Xtra Media Network, PIJAN members and several others…
