The Osun State House of Assembly has announced the revocation of the arrest warrant it issued against the immediate past Commissioner for Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development, Arc. Muyiwa Ige.
The controversy was engendered by an issue relating to a ‘land matter at Ilobu’ area of the State.
Muyiwa is the heir of the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the federation, late Chief Bola Ige.
Osun State House of Assembly in another announcement aired on Osun State Broadcasting Corporation on Thursday at 6pm informed that all issues had been resolved while the earlier warrant of arrest have been revoked.
PMParrot gathered that the state Assembly members led by the Acting Speaker, Hon. Adegboye Akintunde met with Arc. Ige where all issues were sorted out on Thursday morning.
The parties said that the controversy was ignited by what they referred to as “communication gap”.
In his reation, Arc. Ige also confirmed that the issues have been resolved amicably.
He however maintained that he was not aware of the earlier invitation which was said to have been announced on the radio.
While assuring that he will not relent in contributing his best to the development of the state under the able leadership of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, he stressed that he will not derailed from the training and upbringing by his late parents.
He, however, thanked Nigerians home and abroad for their calls and concerns.
