Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State will bubble on Sunday, 3rd November, with ‘War of the Warriors’ boxing show organized by Moon Dream Promotions as notable boxers from Ibadan and Lagos would slug it out for honours in different weight categories.
The Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC) sanctioned boxing extravaganza will hold inside the Base One Sports Arena, Opposite Shooting Stars Office, Jericho, Ibadan.
The Chairman Oyo State Chapter of NBBofC, Gbenga Opaleye, has described the forthcoming show as a good development to revitalize the interest of the teeming boxing lovers.
The main fight of the night is the bout between Konda Joy, a Nigeria-born but Japan-based boxer and Chidi Emmanuel Ugwu of the Francis Aiyegbeni Boxing Club while other fights of the day include a bout between Samuel Moses Apataroro and Nureni Moruf.
Kehinde Toheed ‘Deputy’ will also face Basiru Lukman popularly known as Selimu, while Babatunde Omogbolahan Sanusi ‘Chibusor’ will lock horns with Agboola Durotimi ‘Tiny’ and Oluwashina ‘Modric’ Balogun confront Dauud Yakubu in the fifth bout of the night as Sulaimon Sodiq and Niyi Mutiu Oluwafemi will also battle each other.
