Shooting Stars Sports Club continued their impressive run in the Nigeria Premier Football League on Sunday by claiming their second away win of the season with a 1-0 win over reigning Champions, Rangers International at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
A 27th-minute goal by returning defender Ikouwem Utin was the difference between both sides as Gbenga Ogunbote’s side climbed up to third in the league with 30 points after 18 games.
The victory was 3SC’s fourth in five consecutive games and their seventh in their last 10 games.
Despite starting the season slowly, they are now just three points behind joint-leaders Remo Stars and Rivers United.
