NNL Holds Super 4 Tournament, AGA, 2017-2018 Draw To Hold In Lagos

The end of season Super Four Tournament to determine the overall champions for the season in the Bet9ja Nigeria National League will hold in Lagos next week.

According to the Chief Operating Officer, Lawrence Katken, the three day tournament will kick off Sunday 7th and end Tuesday 9th January, 2018 at the famous and New-Looking “Soccer Temple” the Agege Stadium, in Lagos.

Heartland Football Club, the Naze Billionaires and Afonja Warriors-Kwara United of Ilorin, emerged winners of both the Southern and Northern Conferences in the regular season,while Go-Round FC of Omoku and Yobe Desert Stars of Damaturu FC -‘Desert Machines’ were runners up.The four teams who by their efforts qualified for the Super four, will light up the Soccer Temple in the wake of the new year.

Katsina United, Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS), Remo Stars and Gombe United competed in the super four last season with Katsina emerging champions.

The tournament is expected to attract soccer faithfuls and fans across the country to the Temple, judging with the pedigree of the four teams who already will be playing in Nigeria’s elite League, the Nigeria Professional Football League, the tournament promises to be explosive with high Football artistry to be showcased.

In the meantime, the Annual General Assembly (AGA) will also hold in Lagos, with the draw for the new season’s fixture amongst others top the agenda for the AGA.

The board and management of the second tier League under the leadership of Sir Chidi Offor Okenwa has commended the Lagos State government, its Sports Commission and Football Association for accepting to partner with Bet9ja NNL to deliver this crucial tournament.

The board equally salutes the enigmatic and huge role played by the chairman of K.C.Gamings Limited, operators of the biggest sports betting company in Nigeria, Bet9ja, Honourable Kunle Soname and his management team in the 2016-2017 season as NNL Title and premium sponsors.
