Nigeria international, Ademola Lookman delivered a standout performance in the first half as Atalanta took a commanding 5-0 lead against Empoli at the Stadio Carlo Castellani on Sunday.
Atalanta netted three in the first half and added two more in the second half, with Lookman delivering a brace.
The Nigerian forward was instrumental in his team’s dominant display, scoring a goal and constantly threatening the opposition’s defence.
Lookman found the net in the 43rd minute with a well-timed finish, adding to Atalanta’s lead after an earlier own goal by Emmanuel Gyasi and a strike from Mateo Retegui.
