A member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oorelope Local Government Area of Oyo State and Aspirant for the House of Assembly, Moses Adebayo Alao, has resigned his membership of the Party with immediate effect.
Alao, who hails from Onilu Compound, Obaago, Igboho, announced his resignation in a letter addressed to the Chairman of the PDP, Ward 01, Oorelope Local Government Area.
In the letter, the journalist turned politician stated that his resignation was in line with the provisions of the Electoral Act 2026 as amended.
He also used the opportunity to pledge his absolute loyalty to the governor of Oyo State, Engineer ‘Seyi Makinde.
