The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, has congratulated its patron, Chief (Engr.) Jubril Dotun Sanusi, FNSE, on his 58th birthday, describing him as an exceptional leader, accomplished engineer, and committed philanthropist.
The council, in a statement jointly signed by its chairman, Comrade Akeem Abas, and secretary, Comrade Temidayo Adu, on Saturday in Ibadan, said Sanusi had continued to distinguish himself through his generosity, humility, and unwavering commitment to human development.
It described the celebrant, the Okanlomo Oodua and Gbonka Olubadan of Ibadanland, as a worthy ambassador of the Yoruba race whose contributions to community development and the welfare of the people remained commendable.
The NUJ said Sanusi’s support for individuals, institutions, and community-based initiatives reflected his belief in shared prosperity and the responsibility of successful people to contribute meaningfully to society.
According to the council, his association with the union as Patron is a source of encouragement, particularly at a time when the media industry requires stronger partnerships with individuals and institutions committed to societal development.
It prayed that God would grant Sanusi renewed strength, sound health, wisdom, and many more years of impactful service to humanity, while urging him to sustain his exemplary contributions to the growth of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and Nigeria.
The council wished the celebrant a fulfilling 58th birthday and expressed confidence that his years ahead would bring greater accomplishments, enduring legacies, and more opportunities to touch lives positively.
