Professor Yemi Farounbi, former Nigerian Ambassador to Philippines is scheduled to deliver a talk at the Annual General Meeting of Lagelu Grammar School, Ibadan, Old Boys Association (LAGSOBA), 1977-1982 Set on Saturday, September 29, 2018 in Ibadan.
The erudite Nigerian will deliver a lecture titled ‘Health & Wealth in Old Age – A Blue Print’ at the event.
According to a press statement signed by the Chairman of the group, Mr. Sunday Amoo, the program will commence at 11am, at Pristine Guest Place, Alalubosa GRA, Ibadan, in the capital city of Oyo State.
The event will also feature a presentation by Barrister Oluwole Adeosun, who is a member of the group.
Sunday Amoo also added that all arrangements have been concluded saying “this year’s edition of the program promises to be more memorable. We all plan to activate the spirit of ‘semper optimum’ at the event. I use this opportunity to urge all our members to make sure that they do not miss this program. We expect our members to storm Ibadan from all over the world. We are also glad that our role model, Colonel Bola Ogunsawo will also be present by God’s grace.”
The Chairman, Board of Trustees of the Set and the Vice Chancellor of The First Technical University and, Professor Ayobami Salami also expressed enthusiasm and prayed for all the participants as they storm Ibadan for the event.
Said Salami “We are all hopeful of having a great day with one another. Lagelu Grammar School Ibadan is a school to be proud of anytime, anyday. We are happy to be re-uniting once again.”
In addition, the group’s Cooperative Society meeting will also be held on the same day at the same venue between 10.30am and 11.30am.
