As part of plans to discover budding talents at the grassroots and curtail the scourge of ‘age-cheating’ that is rocking the sporting world of Nigeria, Kayrom Lee Group has finalized plan to establish RACBAR Academy.
The notable sports firm that owns the Popular Kayrom Lee gym and fitness centre, at Obafemi Awolowo Stadium Ibadan conceptualized the idea of the academy according Amb. Romoke Ayinde, the CEO of Kayrom Lee to cater for beginners in the racket sports, balls games, aquatic and rings which formed the RACBAR acronym.
The unveiling and public presentation of the outfit has been scheduled for Saturday 6th April at the corporate headquarters of Kayrom Lee Nigeria Limited, 360 Innovation Building, along Alao-Akala express way, Ibadan.
The soft-spoken multi-lingual Nigerian business woman revealed to PMParrot Sports that the academy was carefully structured to meet the international standard with the services of qualified trainers in the aspect of handling beginners with provision of modern equipments to tutor the kids that will be admitted free of charge into the academy.
“Karom Lee is a principal partner to the Federal Ministry of Youths and Sports in the area of grassroots sports development, and the better way to compliment the efforts of the ministry in this regard is to put up a structure that will help their job at the grassroots.
“Our aim is to do a thing that will be in accordance with best global practices and that was why we took out time to institute this academy that will cater for pupils interested in racket games, ball games, aquatic and ring sports”, said the Ambassador of peace.
