Samuel Chukwueze, Super Eagles’ winger will be gunning for his seventh La Ligagoal for Villarreal when he makes his 28th appearance for the Yellow Submarines in Friday’s clash against Levante at the Etadio Ciudad de Valencia, Sports Extra reports.
Chukwueze started the season on a bright note, scoring his first goal of the season in a chaotic 4-4 draw with Granada on match day one last Saturday.
The 20-year-old scored against Levante in Villarreal’s 2-0 win away last season on September 3, 2018, but faces a daunting task extending his scoring streak against their hosts, who are undefeated in their last six La Liga home matches.
Chukwueze scored a goal against South Africa in the quarter-final for Nigeria at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and also featuring in six games as the Eagles went on to win the bronze medal at the competition.
