Veteran broadcaster, Mallam Nasir Danladi Bako, in the company of some board members of the National Broadcasting Commission paid an official visit to the headquarters of Fresh 105.9 FM in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State on Monday.
The radio station’s proprietor, Dr Joel Yinka Ayefele was on ground to play host to the visitors.
Danladi Bako, who took to his Facebook page to hail Ayefele after this visit had this to say “Paid an official visit to Fresh FM in Ibadan today along with Board members of National Broadcasting Commission .
“The Executive Chairman Yinka Ayefele,MON, was a wonderful host, a great gentleman. Along with his management team – they gave us a memorable time”.
Ayefele, who is also a popular Nigerian musician now has his Fresh FM Radio in Abeokuta, Ogun State and Ado Ekiti, in Ekiti State in addition to what he has in Ibadan.
Since the talented musician established the radio station, he has won several awards and has continued to wax stronger.
Sometime in 2018, the Music House that houses the headquarters of Yinka Ayefele’s radio station was partially demolished by the then governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
“Here we are today,” Ayefele quipped, “we give all the glory to God for His mercy on us. We will continue to wax stronger”, he said after seeing off Mallam Danladi Bako and his team.
