In order to secure the service of former Nigeria’s Super Eagles captain, Mikel Obi, Brazilian Serie A outfit, Botafogo is ready to offer the former Chelsea midfielder 18 month deal worth $2 million.

A Champions League and Europa League winner with Chelsea, the Super Eagles legend also lists Lyn Oslo, Tianjin Teda and Middlesbrough among his previous clubs.
