Nigeria’s Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr says he is delighted with the permanent move of Nigeria international, Simon Moses to the French Ligue 1, Nantes from the Spanish Premiere division side Levante.

Rohr who managed Nantes back in 2009 is happy that the explosive winger joined his former side permanently and assured them they are getting a quality wide-man.

Moses was one of the surprise players on FC Nantes 2019/2020 successful season, the Nigerian international was divisive 10 times in 26 Ligue 1 games and finished the season with nine goals and eight assists, including a resounding hat-trick at the end of October during the Canaries’ very large victory in the BKT League Cup (8-0 against Paris FC).

“Very good in the one against one, an explosive, extremely fast wing-man, which I use in the left or right corridor.” Rohr said.

Moses Simon played five games in the last African cup of Nations in Egypt including two as a starting player.

Rohr also described Simon as ” a very disciplined boy, and above all very good in one on one. He is able to easily eliminate his opponents, he’s a good choice for Nantes “he said.

Moses who was voted Nantes player of the season joined the Canaries on a permanent deal last week.
