Nigeria international, Rabiu Ibrahim has been unveiled by his new club, Slovak club ŠK Slovan Bratislava following a move from Belgium’s K.A.A. Gent.
The former PSV and Celtic midfielder, who signed a one million euro four-year contract, becomes the most expensive player in the history of the domestic league in Slovakia.
The 26-year-old former Gateway FC of Abeokuta will wear the jersey number 20.
Speaking at the unveiling, the former Sporting Lisbon, Celtic and PSV Eindhoven playmaker said the move is a dream comes true and he promise to work hard for the team.
“I am very happy with the transfer to Slovan. After the season I had different options, but clearly I decided to Slovan.
“First of all, I have to work hard for the team and fight for a place in the starting line-up.
“I have high ambitions – winning matches and trophies,” Rabiu said after his signing.
