President Muhammadu Buhari has, in his nationwide broadcast on Thursday night, called for the suspension of all protests across the country.
This, according to him, was necessitated because the protests have been hijacked and the #ENDSARS protests across the Federation have turned violent.
The President said: “I therefore call on our youths to discontinue the street protests and constructively engage government in finding solutions.
“Your voice has been heard loud and clear and we are responding.”
Meanwhile, Nigerians all over the world have continued to express disappointment in the President for not addressing major issues in his nationwide broadcast.
