Two of the most resourceful legal practitioners in the country and Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs), Prince Lateef Fagbemi and Chief Adeniyi Akintola were both honoured by the Nigerian Bar Association, Ibadan Branch on Friday night.
The Dinner/investiture and awards night which was held inside the expansive Aare Afe Babalola Bar Center, Iyaganku, Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State had the Deputy Governor, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan and the Orangun of Oke-Ila, Oba Adedokun Abolarin who was also a notable lawyer before he became a monarch.
Some notable names present at the event included Pastor Oluseun Abimbola, SAN, Aare Abiola Olagunju (the Chairman of OYSIEC), Pastor Oladipo Olasope, SAN, Mr Sikiru Adewoye, Prince Bamidele Abolarin, Oloye Mutalabi Adebayo Ojo and several others.
Some of the ‘baby lawyers’ at the event who spoke with PMParrot expressed appreciation to the ‘seniors’ who organised the epochal dinner/investiture and awards night.
