The demise of the Ondo State Commissioner for Regional Integration, Professor Bayonle Ademodi has been confirmed.
The commissioner died on Saturday at the age of 68.
Ademodi’s death was confirmed by the state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Doland Ojogo, on Saturday in Akure, the state capital.
He simply said, “It was received with great shock and disbelief.”
His death was also confirmed by a former Caretaker Chairman of Ondo East, Local Government Area of Ondo State, Wale Akinlosotu.
Akinlosotu described Ademodi as a great leader and bridge-builder that was loved by young and old.
The state Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu got thrown into mourning by the sad occurrence.
