The Caretaker chairman, Ibadan East Local Council Development Area, Hon (Engr) Abiodun Babalola is ready to hold his annual leadership seminar in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State.
The 11th edition of the seminar aimed at raising revolutionary youths who are passionate about the development of their country is slated to hold on 26th December 2020, at Palm77 Hotel and Suite, Agodi, Ibadan by 10am.
The 2020 edition of Lead Conference titled “Leadership and the way forward in Nigeria”, will welcome notable political office holders, life coaches, the media, Academia among others.
Among those expected to speak at the event include Senator Muhammad Kola Balogun, the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial district, Asiwaji Seun Fakorede, the Honourable commissioner for Youth and Sports in the state, Comrade Ademola Babalola, the Oyo State chairman Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and ace broadcaster, Mr Dotun Saseyi among others.
The organiser of the event Hon. Abiodun Babalola who expressed his readiness for this year edition promised that the 2020 leadership conference will bring together successful entrepreneurs, innovators and professionals from all walks of life who will be sharing their leaderships experience with the youths.
According to the-soft spoken politician, Hon (Engr) Abiodun Babalola, ”it is important to make the 11th edition of the leadership conference a remarkable one despite the pandemic”.
He therefore promised that the organiser of the leadership conference will make provisions for covid-19 guidelines, while enjoining every participant to come along with their nose mask as part of the precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of COVID- 19 as other safety measure will be put in place in order to stay within the guidelines of NCDC.
The caretaker chairman also used the opportunity to appreciate those that have been making the annual leadership conference a reality in his words of appreciation. He said “this invocation started in 2009 and this edition will make it 11 years of uninterrupted leadership training and we thank God for getting positive feedbacks annually”.
According to him, he said “the team will continue to give back to its immediate environment and make sure we are building future leaders in our own little way”, Babalola noted.
The seminar which has recorded great success in the past has played host to eminent Nigerians from all walks of life as guest speakers.
