Mrs Abosede Okeowo, the teacher at Itamerin Senior Secondary School, Oru, Ijebu Oru in Ogun State who was on Monday, abducted alongside two others by suspected gunmen have been freed.
According to PMParrot’s impeccable source, the trio regained their freedom on Friday afternoon after the payment of a ransom.
Our source, however, was not forthcoming when probed to disclose the exact amount paid to secure the trio’s freedom.
The victims were on Monday travelling in a Toyota Camry car on their way from Ibadan when they were abruptly stopped by the kidnappers at Ibuso Gbooro, a settlement in Oluyole Local Government of Oyo State.
“Mrs Abosede Okeowo’s husband did not reveal how much was given to the kidnappers, all we know is that money was paid to secure the freedom of the three women,” enthused our source.
