The authorities at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have reacted to the news of the health issue of their chairman, Mr Abdulrasheed Bawa saying that he ‘is hale and hearty’.
The commission said Bawa will soon be back to his desk.
The Head of Media and Publicity, Mr Wilson Uwujaren made the clarification in a statement in Abuja on the condition of Bawa.
Read the full text of the statement: “The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Commission, (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa is hale and hearty.
This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat.
“He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk.”
However, nothing was said about the present location of the hard-working anti-graft warrior.
