The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State has debunked the allegation made by the Social Democratic Party (SDP) that the ruling party in the state is preventing people from registering for their Permanent Voters’ Cards (PVCs) in the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise.
Reacting to the allegations, Mr. Segun Dipe, the State Publicity Secretary of APC in Ekiti State said, “The allegation from the SDP in Ekiti State is a cheap blackmail. How can they say people were imported? There are people from Ekiti State who are yet to be registered as voters. Why do we need to import anybody from the neighboring States?”
He, however, urged the residents of the state to disregard the unfounded rumor-flying round.
