The Ekiti State Government has revealed that the resumption date for all public and private schools in the state has been shifted to Monday 9th May, 2022.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Mrs. Folakemi Olomojobi revealed this to stakeholders and all heads of schools on Wednesday.
She further stated that the resumption date was shifted because of the public holidays declared for Monday, 2nd May and Tuesday, 3rd May, 2022 which initially was expected to be the official resumption date while affirming that the third term for 2021/2022 academic session begins on Monday 9th May, 2022.
