In the spirit of celebrating Nigeria’s 63rd Independence, the Honourable Member Representing Ibadan South East Constituency 2 at the Oyo State House Of Assembly, Hon Olayinka Omikunle has called on Nigerians and citizens of the state to continue praying for leaders of the nation at all levels.
Hon Omikunle in his Independence messages to the people of his constituency congratulated them on the celebration of this year’s Independence anniversary, while he also called for the support of governments at all times, as this is the only way the nation can move forward.
The chairman house committee on Public Private Partnerships at the 10th Oyo State Assembly while speaking in Ibadan the capital city of the state said “It is very important for all the citizens of our dear country Nigeria to continue to pray and support the governments at the state and federal levels as no government can function without the support of the people.
“It is of no doubt that the economy of our country is currently at a lousy stage and this has killed many businesses, but as a great people of this great nation, we can rejuvenate the economy of this nation and make our country retain her position as a giant of Africa”.
Omikunle who also praised Governor Seyi Makinde, for being a Governor of the people, he described the hard working number one citizen of Oyo state as the only hope for democracy in Nigeria,
He noted that Governor Makinde always put the nation first above his personal ambition and he has always stood for the unity of the nation at all times
He therefore, called on the people of the state to continue to support Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration in order to make his dream of sustainable development a reality in the state. Adding that Makinde’s style of leadership is a hope that Nigeria can be great again.
