The government of President Muhammadu Buhari, through the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, has announced dates for Easter Holidays.

The Federal Government has on Wednesday in Abuja declared April 14 and 17 as public holidays to mark the Easter celebrations.

Dambazau‎ enjoined Christians and other Nigerians to imbibe the virtues of Jesus Christ and extend spiritual benefits of Easter such as love, peace, justice, sacrifice and kindness in all their interaction during the holidays.

He also urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for unity and peaceful co-existence in the country.

Dambazau stressed the need for Nigerians to support President Muhammadu Buhari’s sustained efforts to build a strong and virile nation.
