Osun Commissioners: Muyiwa Ige, Ajibola Bashiru Make Aregbesola’s List

It is no longer secret that the list of names of those to become Commissioners in Osun State is being made a strict secret – PMParrotng has, however, exclusively filtered some names on the list out.

The list has already been sent to the State’s House of Assembly.

As expected, Architect Muyiwa Ige, the son of Late Chief Bola Ige and Dr (Barrister) Ajibola Bashiru, who is one of Aregbesola’s closest aides made the list. He served as the Commissioner in charge of Intergovernmental relationship during the governor’s first term in office.

Another unconfirmed source also informed us that Remi Omowaye and Hon Bisi Adewumi are on the list too.

Others include Barrister Adejare, Barrister Akano, Mr Oyebamiji, Mrs Folake, Hon Alagbada and Hon Biyi Odunlade.

Meanwhile, a Social-political group, Asiwaju Grassroots Foundation (AGF), Osun state Chapter, has commended the state governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola over the nomination of its members for confirmation by the legislature or Local Government Caretaker Committee.

AGF also extolled the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state for considering the names of its members on the new appointment.

According to the group, Hon. Oloyede Adekunle Kamoli, popularly known as “Jk ” was nominated as the Executive Secretary for Irepodun South Local Council Development Area(LCDA),  Comrade Raji Rasheed Ropo was nominated as a member of the Caretaker Committee for Odo Otin North LCDA while Hon. Uthman Mukaila made the list as a member Caretaker Comittee for Owode-Ede Area Council.

The group in a statement jointly signed by its Secretary and Acting State Cordinator; Hon. Tijani Sikiru and Comrade Adeniji Yahaya, assured the state of the group’s unalloyed support and cooperation.

The AGF, however, charged the appointees on the need for them to live up to expectation and represent their people well after being confirmed and inaugurated.

According to the group, “You must see this appointment as a clarion call to further impact positively on the lives of the people.

“This appointment must reflect in you the commitment of our group to anything progressive which we all stand for.

“We want you to live up to expectation in meeting the confidence reposed in you through the circumstances that effects your nomination”, the statement reads.

Osun AGF also challenged the newly appointed grassroots administrators to be more proactive and represent the democratic vision of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s national leader.

“We charge you to live above board and imbibe the Democratic philosophy of our principal Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“It is our belief that once you champion the virtues of ‘Omoluabi’ ethos which our Principal Tinubu stands for, you are directly complimenting the good works of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.

“As much as we appreciate our dear Governor, we are at the same time reaffirm our undiluted loyalty to his leadership in all ramifications as we are serious about giving his government utmost support in all ramifications.”
