Super Eagles midfielder, Nosa Igiebor has debunked the reports making the rounds that the national team manager, Gerot Rohr disrespected him therefore he will never play for the national team again, as false and an imagination of the writer’s memory.
The Turkish Süper Lig club, Çaykur Rizespor player took to his Instagram page to discredit the story and posted a picture of himself with Gerot Rohr in the national team colours alongside other players.
“My attention has been drawn to a story by an online website that I will no longer honour national team call ups again. Let me use this opportunity to disassociate myself from this malicious report as there’s no truth in it.
“I remain committed to national service whenever am called upon. God bless Nigeria,” the message reads.
Igiebor, who joined the Turkish club from Israelite side, Maccabi Tel Aviv, further said he is willing to join the Nigeria national side anytime he is call on.
