All arrangements have been concluded for Engr Raufu Aderemi Olaniyan, fnse, to lead his followers in Ibadan North Local Government to join the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.
According to Lawrence Olisa, the Media Consultant to the politician, “The followers of this great bridge builder are drawn from Accord, PDP and SDP. They will formally join APC at a ceremony billed for Wednesday at Oke Apon, IMG Primary School ground near K S Motel, Total Garden as from 2 p.m.
“Similarly, Engr Remi Olaniyan’s followers in Shaki led by Hon Najeem Omirinde will also officially join APC this week at a grand ceremony. The event comes up at the weekend”.
In another development, the physically challenged in Oke Ogun have called on Engr Remi Olaniyan to make sure that they are given a good opportunity to express themselves in his programme. They made this demand in a solidarity message to him for his usual support.
Meanwhile, the Engr Raufu Aderemi Olaniyan fnse Foundation has said that the Atupa Eye Programme will move state wide. The Foundation has an arrangement with the Catholic Church right from the Vatican to support eye treatment and operations in the Catholic Hospital in Iseyin, Oyo State.
