...the Super Eagles...deferred flight for Nigeria's team?

Super Eagles’ much anticipated training camp in Paris, France after the May 26 friendly game against Corsica and the friendly against Togo have been called off.

According to a top official of the Nigeria Football Federation, the proposed camping and the friendly was cancelled due to logistics.

The three-time African champions were scheduled to hold a training camp in Paris but the plan has been shelved and the players and the officials will now return to Abuja after the Corsica friendly.

“The friendly announced by the Togo Football Federation will not hold due to several logistics reasons and the team are due back in Nigeria latest May 28,” the source, a member of the technical sub-committee of the NFF, revealed.

The source also disclosed that the team upon their return will be given a few days off while a new list of players that will prosecute the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa on June 10 in Uyo will be announced.
