This a welcome development for fast rising comedian, Short Family who emerged the winner of the debut edition of IBILE Comedy Challenge as he has been given his cheque of N1,000,000.00.
Emeakpore Ofajemue, also known as Short Family @iamshortfamily is the funny dude who beat other finalists to win IBILE Comedy Finale held Sunday 7th May at the Eko Convention Centre.
The visibly-excited Short family was presented the cheque by a popular comedian, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st.
IBILE Comedy Challenge is a Gbengaadeyinka1st initiative supported by the art-loving governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode.
In his response, Short Family commended the initiative and thanked the Governor for investing in youths and also hoped all other governors would emulate governor Ambode’s support for young talented Nigerians who only require a platform to excel.
While chatting with PMParrotng, Gbenga Adeyinka informed that he got inspired to stage the show because of his passion to help those coming behind.
“This is just the beginning. We plan to help more youths so that Nigeria can be better for all of us. Youths need to be encouraged to grow their talents.”
