Former Arsenal striker, Emmanuel Adebayor is a big doubt for the proposed international friendly between Super Eagles of Nigeria and The Sparrow Hawks of Togo slated for June 1.
Togo coach, Claude Le Roy has included Adebayor on the list of four strikers he has summoned to a training camp in France ahead of their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Algeria but the İstanbul Başakşehir striker might not make it to France because the Turkish Super League will end on June 3.
And again on top of that, the former Manchester City forward will be involved in a very important Cup final against Konyaspor a day before the meeting with the Super Eagles.
The Nigeria Football Federation did their homework well before announcing their 25-man roster, leaving out Turkish-based quintet Eddy Onazi (Trabzonspor), Kenneth Omeruo (Alanyaspor), Nosa Igiebor, Godfrey Oboabona (both Rizespor) and Emem Eduok (Kasımpaşa) from the training camp, which is outside FIFA’s international window for national teams get-together.
