The Senator representing Osun East Senatorial district, Babajide Omoworare has felicitated with governor Rauf Aregbesola on the celebration of his 60th Birthday.
Omoworare who described Aregbesola as God-sent to the state gives glory to God for the life of the governor as he adds another year.
The senator stated this in a goodwill message which was made available to the PMParrotng by his media assistant, Comrade Tunde Dairo to celebrate the governors’ 60th birthday.
According to him, “I celebrate the divine messenger and pacesetter Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola as he clocks the age of 60. This is a remarkable achievement which is a reflection of the Grace and purpose of God, I give glory to God for this and I congratulate Ogbeni Aregbesola.”
The senator noted that the governor is not only being celebrated because of his ascension on the age ladder but as a huge success and an exemplary leader who kept his words and political covenant with the people.
“Ogbeni Aregbesola is not an accident of history, he is on a divine mission to transform and reposition Osun on world map which he has done creditably well. He is a pacesetter governor whose giant strides remain laudable models for human development conscious governments and organisations.
“The O’YES, O’meal and other people focused policies of the governor have become nationally and globally accepted models.”
Omoworare urged the governor to rededicate himself to his God sent mission and, shun blind criticism and work more for the state and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) which he said is a vehicle of change and progress for Nigerians.
He also admonished the people of the state to keep faith with Aregbesola and the APC as well as support him in their prayers and be dedicated to their civic duties.
He added that “governance is a collective responsibility, the people must give the best of their support to the leaders to succeed. It is important that we support the governor and the APC to deliver the dividends of democracy.”
