The Speaker, who described the legislative arm as the stabilizer of credible democracy in all developed countries, attributed the ongoing unprecedented socio-infrastructural development witnessed across the State in the last six years to the symbiotic relationship that existed among all arms of government in the State.

He called on the people of the State to continue to support the Senator Ibikunle Amosun-led administration in consolidating on the developments recorded in the last six years; pointing out that the present government was committed to providing more democratic dividends to all parts of the State.

“Policies are formed around the people and not about the people in governance, so, confidence and cooperation with the present administration is key to the development of the State’’, Adekunbi remarked.

The Speaker assured that the Assembly would always ensure transparency, accountability and quality service delivery in all programmes and projects executed by all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) through oversight.
